I am firmly in the sandwich generation. Mom turned 93 yesterday. And on Monday, my youngest gave birth to a baby girl, my first granddaughter. I've been blessed with two grandboys before. Well, I've been with my daughter in another state for a couple of weeks, helping her out. We thought that most of it would be before the birth, but they are still in the hospital. So so far, I can't say I've been all that busy, but just supportive. I did get to see my granddaughter being born!
Another highlight of this trip is that I see mountains, mountains and more mountains every day.
