Important for president to be computer literate?

Is it important for our next president to be computer literate? What do you think?

  1. I don't think it's very important. It is another of the non issues this campaign seems to abound in. Computers, preachers, flags, clothing. The question is whose ideas for the country are most workable.

  2. I've thought about this since I posted it.

    1) In this day and age, why would a person not learn a little about the internet and email? He surely had access in the Senate offices. Where's the curiosity? Does this show lack of confidence?

    2) Sure his staffers can print emails for him, but then everything has to come through somebody else. Yes, that is common for a President or other "high" official or business man, but if there is no knowledge of the technology, then the person can't independently check on information and facts.
